A Swansea based satire writer has taken the plunge and revealed himself, it has emerged.
Choosing Singleton Park as his venue, the writer did the reveal in front of a crowd of stunned students and pensioners yesterday evening.
Onlooker Theresa Connell said: “I was flabbergasted, I mean there wasn’t much to see to be honest, but nevertheless I didn’t expect that.
Dog walker Rob Gray added: “I turned around and there he was.
“I’ve seen some of the stuff he writes and he’s quite funny, sometimes, and I like a man who can make me laugh. But the overall verdict after what I saw is resounding disappointment.”
A spokesperson from South Wales Police confirmed: “We’ve arrested a man for Public Indecency following an incident in Singleton Park.
“We can confirm he is a writer but for legal reasons, we’re unable to publish his name.
“We’ve advised that man that if he wants to reveal himself in public he should probably think about waiting until the evenings are a little darker to spare the public from such a terrible sight.”
