The Democratic Unionist Party have decided to block the Swansea Bay City Deal going ahead and they want to know what you’re gunna do about it.
The party, propping up Theresa May’s Government like a wet cardboard box trying to hold up a medicine ball, have a taste for destruction now that they’ve made their parliamentary chums look like parliamentary chumps.
DUP spokesperson Pete Bowen said: “What do we get out of Swansea’s digital revolution and green space on the Kingsway? Absolutely nothing.
“We’re the DUP. You’ve heard of us now.”
He continued: “What percentage of the 10,000 jobs in Swansea will come to Northern Ireland? Why isn’t the new Swansea indoor arena in Portrush? You can’t buy a Casio watch in Armagh, but Swansea will be a digital hub? I don’t think so, not under our watch.
“We’re the DUP so we are. We’re your Government now and we’re in charge.”
Swansea Council spokesperson Theresa Connell said: “It was all very dramatic.
“Council leader Rob Stewart was called out of a luncheon with the Parks Department in Wyevale where he was about to sign off on 20ft of AstroTurf, but Mrs Foster wanted wood chippings.
“She said she wanted to have a showdown call with Council members at 4pm but she didn’t know we shut at 3 so she’ll have to send an email.”
