A man from the Marina hysterically keeps thinking it’s Sunday today!

41 year old Pete Bowen is telling everyone he meets how the Bank Holiday is ‘throwing him right off’, which he thinks is the funniest thing to happen for a long time.

Bowen said: “When I woke up I put Channel 4 on and wondered where Sunday Brunch was. I thought it was really odd.

“In a daze I flicked to BBC to watch Marr, but Saturday Kitchen was on and I felt like I’d keen kicked in the face. When I realised I was crying laughing.”

Bowen’s girlfriend Theresa Connell added: “Its not as funny as he thinks it is. Nothing he says or does is as funny as he thinks it is.

“The postman came and Pete asked him why he was working on a Sunday, then Pete remembered it was Saturday again and found it hilarious.

“The postman looked like he wanted throw Pete under a bus.”

Bowen continued: “Well I went to Tesco then didn’t I? Arrived before 11:00 and just couldn’t understand why it was open. But it’s bloody Saturday, not Sunday!

“I regaled my whole morning to the Security Guard, in between all the laughter. He found it so funny he couldn’t even laugh.

“I’ve told everyone about this because I don’t know when I’ll have a funny day like this again. Maybe tomorrow and Monday.”
