A Mansleton woman who posts highly creative Instagram stories was shockingly snubbed by BAFTA last night.
24 year old Theresa Connell was hoping to win in the Rising Star, Best Direction, Best Make up and Hair categories and at least be considered for Best Short Film for her ‘Grey Goose in Peppermint’ production.
Theresa said: “Im really creative and I express myself by overusing my Boomerang app for really pointless things.
“Sometimes when I post a story of me drinking Strongbow Dark Fruits I add a GIF because that’s what Tarantino probably does, it’s the little things that make you that bit extra.
“I’m disappointed to not win and not meet other creative types from Made in Chelsea and contestants from Love Island, but there’s always next year.
“Awards just celebrate mediocrity anyway, I just want some free Botox.”
One of Theresa’s followers Pete Bowen said: “It’s always inspiring to see Theresa’s stories on Instagram. She clearly lives a rich, blessed and fulfilling life and she’s right to laud her new fake tan all over my pale, worthless body.
“My favourite is when she Boomerangs a glass of cheap Cava or of her dancing where she just moves up and down continuously, pouting and with an arm in the air.”
Theresa continued: “I’m just going to get together with my friends and post loads of pictures with #thesegirls next to them.
“Then I’ll post a story of me looking all perplexed because I’m pissed again at 2am and I’ll caption it with ‘When you say you’re going for one drink and you have 8”.
“I’m so FML.”
