A man who couldn’t be bothered to film and photograph the Wales Airshow again this year has stuck last year’s videos and photos onto Facebook instead.

Mount Pleasant man Pete Bowen posted 38 pictures and videos of chinooks, red arrows and parachutists from 2017 at 18:12 yesterday evening, receiving 23 likes and no evidence of anyone knowing what he’d done.

Bowen said: “I enjoy the airshow like most people, but I’ve missed most of it over the years because I’ve been trying to get the perfect shot of the planes on my phone.

“Last year, as I scrolled through my Facebook feed, hoping to find something to masturbate over, I realised that everyone’s posting the same images.

“I scrolled for 5 minutes and all I could see was that heart thing the red arrows do every year. I already have that on my phone, three times from the last three years.”

Bowen’s friend Theresa Connell said: “I thought Pete’s pictures were excellent this year.

“His pictures made it look a little cloudier than I thought it was, but then again I spent the whole day taking pictures myself so perhaps I didn’t notice.

“I was also surprised to see I was wearing the top I lost in September 2017 yesterday too.”

Bowen added: “Its the perfect crime. My feed remains current and I actually get to take in what’s happening, as opposed to spending the time trying to zoom in on planes I have no interest in for the rest of the year.

“I’ll be posting last year’s Christmas dinner, birthday cake and Tinder profile picture for the rest of time. I’ll be forever young!”
