People across Swansea have woken up to find out if they’ve received Easter eggs from the 2 for £10 shelf or the 3 for £10 one.
The type of egg has been described as a crucial indicator of ones status within their own family; with some people set to consider leaving home if they’ve received an egg which comes with a teacup.
Blaenymaes resident Pete Bowen said: “I ambitiously thought I may have had a big Mini Eggs one, maybe even a Lindt.
“You can imagine my disappointment when I had a f**king Picnic egg from the 3 for £10 range. Picnic mind. I didn’t even know they still made them.
“I know what this means and I’ve packed my bags. I’m taking the TV, the Debenhams plates and the microwave. I won’t take my Picnic egg though.”
Landore resident Theresa Connell said: “I was really relieved to find my big Mars egg this morning.
“The small Toffee Crisp egg with the ghastly mug was a real wake up call last year.”
Rob Gray from Killay added: “I had a gluten free egg from the Co-op.
“I don’t even know what this means?”
Great post 😄
